RULES of LEAVE / ABSENCE

  1. Attendance is compulsory on the first and last working day of every term.

  2. Student who have been sick and not attended school for more than 3 days should bring a medical certificate from their doctor on rejoining school.

  3. Parents should fill up "Record for Non-Attendance" for each day the student has been absent from school along with stating the reasons for absence.

  4. Anyone who has been absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without a letter from the parent, addressed to the Class Teacher, stating the reason for absence.

  5. Leave for going out station needs prior approval of the principal.

  6. In case of an emergency, parents will be informed and they will have to report to the Principal. They are not allowed to enter the classes directly.

  7. Student suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class: a) Chicken pox - Till complete fading of the scabs. b) Cholera - Till the child completely well. c) Measles - Three weeks after the rash disapper. d) Mumps - Untill the swelling has gone, about one month. e) Jaundice - Six weeks after recovery f) Dengue - Till complete recovery.

RECOMMENDATION TO GUARDIANS

To get the best from the school for your child, you are advised to be in regular touch with the school. We earnestly recommend that parents and guardians should look into their ward's Almanac everyday and see that the lesson and homework assigned for the day is done.

  1. The students should be encouraged to cultivate habit of neatness. Check the uniform, hair cut and punctuality of your ward in the morning.

  2. Remarks put down in dairy should be seen and countersigned regularly. It is advisable to write to the class teacher in the Almanac about the problems of your ward/s.

  3. Contact the Class Teacher on Monday, Wednesday, Friday after school in case you need to discus the progress of your ward.

  4. See that your ward carries books according to the Time Table for the day.

  5. Children will not be allowed to go home during school hours. Parents are requested no to make any social engagements or medical appointments during working hours. To ensure discipline, parents are requested not be send their wards to school on the day they have any such appointments.

  6. Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.

  7. If your ward is absent from school he/she must complete all the work missed by him/her, at the earliest.

  8. As the medium of instruction in school is English, a regular conversation in English at home will help the child to gain confidence and comprehends the syllabus easily.

  9. Parents are prohibited from going directly to the class to meet the teachers or the children.

  10. Expensive articles like fancy watches, transistors, calculator, mobile phones etc. should not be school. They are also not allowed to wear jewellery to school. In case of violation of this rule the articles will be confiscated. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in the school. In case of a loss, a letter giving details of the loss may be sent to the Class Teacher.

  11. Students who come to school escorted will not be allowed to leave before the escort arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office.

  12. The School reserves the right to suspend students whose progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

  13. Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers without prior permission of the Principal.

  14. Parents and guardians of all students have to attend all the PTM to note the progress of their wards.

  15. Your ward should be instructed to be careful about his/her things. The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all the belongings of the students.

  16. Students have to attend all the teaching, games, library and activity period in the school

  17. A student who uses unfair means during tests will be given zero in the subject with a warning letter. Repetition of the same will result in suspenstion.

  18. The School reserves the right to withhold the promotion of the student in case of under performance.

STUDENTS’ CODE OF CONDUCT

1. Students should respect the beauty of the classroom and the school premises and report any damage observed, to teachers.

2. They should take god care of their belonging, including maintenance of books and note books neatly, packing satchels completely with all things that may be needed, filling the circulars and putting in their respective places.

3. Keeping the school and classroom neat and clean is the responsibility of students.

4. Writing on the wall and furniture of the school is strictly prohibited.

5. Articles like expensive watches , costly pens, jewellery cell phones etc. are not be responsible for loss of such items.

6. They should always remember that all School students are expected:

 To take good of their health and develop health habits.

 To be polite, courteous and friendly.

 To have a positive attitude and an appealing demeanor.

 To accept all the assignment rightfully and complete them dutifully.

 To be ready to lend a helping hand to all and not only to their friends, relatives and teachers but to unattended visitors.

 Never to cheat or be unfair at play; never to be rude.

 To be kind and honest.

 To respect the liberty and the right of others.

 To resist the temptation and to have courage to say No to Wrongs.

 To look upon people from all parts of the world as their brethren irrespective of their caste, color and creed.

 To respect the teachers and visitors of the school and wish them properly.

 Shouting , howling whistling and similar misbehavior are strictly forbidden inside the school building and class room.

 During the school hours, no students shall leave the school premises without the permission of the principal.

 Incase of any dispute or misunderstanding about the rules and norms of the school , the decision of the school managing committee shall be final.

7. Principal has the right to admit and the reject the admission of the student at his/her own discretion.

EXAMINATION RULES

1. A duly signed admission card should be obtained by every student well in advance and should be brought along everyday of examination.

2. Students shall invariably come in uniform on examination days.

3. The school guarantees no alternative provisions or arrangements for those who absent themselves from any test/exam.

4. The immediate action against any irregularity in any exam is outright dismissal of the students from the institution at the discretion of the management.

5. Willful breach of any of the examination rules is punishable with expulsion from the examination room and cancellation of written papers.

6. In case of absent from examination /test in medical ground ,a medical certificate shall be produced along with the application by the parents/guardian in person.

7. Minimum 80% attendance is compulsory for appearing in final exam, failing which the parents/guardian will have to give the reason in writing and in person otherwise promotion may be with held.

8. All cases of doubt regarding, promoting are left to good sense and decision of the principle.

9. Those who fail twice in the same class will not continue in this school.
